Our BeWell watches come in a variety of woods ranging from Sandalwood and Zebra Wood to Maple. We also carry a number of watches made from extremely eco-friendly Bamboo. All of the womens wooden watches are handcrafted with matching watch cases, wristbands and faces. The wooden watch frame is then paired with a top quality Japanese movement.

What Makes A Watch “Womens”?

We often get asked this question and the answer is pretty simple. Almost always, the only difference between mens wooden watches and unisex or womens wooden watches is the size. Womens watches are usually smaller:

  • Case Size / Diameter: Womens watches usually have case diameters 30/42 MM. Some women’s watches are smaller and some are larger depending on the designer.
  • Strap Length: Women’s sizes usually range from about 180 – 220mm but most watch straps are adjustable.
  • Strap Width: Usually about 18 – 24mm

To be fair there is often overlap between many unisex watches and mens watches. Additionally, we know plenty of men who prefer to wear a sleeker watch and often go with watches in this category.

How To Fit A Womens Watch

The diameter of the watch face is set, so pick a size you are comfortable with. If your watch comes with a leather or nylon strap, fitting it correctly should be as easy as choosing the correct pin-hole for the clasp.

We Recommend: Sizing the strap so that it is tight enough the watch does not fall off or flop around or rotate on your wrist, but loose enough not to cut off circulation or rub on your skin.

If you choose a wooden watch or metal watch, changing the strap size will likely require removing links. The method differs by watch, but is usually done by removing a few small pins to take links out.
