Why we love Invicta Watches

Here at the WatchGnome workshop, we see a lot of different watches ranging from your "daily driver" Timex, to your high-end Oris or Bulova. But at the end of the day, there are a few brands that have a soft spot in our heart. Invicta watches is one of those brands (and we are proud to offer Invicta watch battery replacement).

Invicta watch history

Invicta was founded more than a century ago in 1837 in Chiasso, Switzerland, with the belief that supremely crafted timepieces can be offered for modest prices. They originally crafted mechanical and automatic timepieces and like most brands of the time all but disappeared during the quartz movement in the 1970’s.

However, to our great luck, the company was re-established in the early 1990’s with the Invicta Watch Group. And in 2000, Invicta set out to create the perfectly fitting, oversized timepiece. This quest created the professional dive watch, the Ocean Ghost, and the iconic Lupah collection.

Invicta uses materials that are generally found only in high-priced brands. The brand created tremendous intrigue and has wowed many watch enthusiasts over the years. They created unique products with features ranging from skeletonized movements to a unique gold layering technique. Invicta has become one of the most forward thinking watch makers in the world.
